About the Infrastructure & Support Manager role
Grundon is growing and we need your expertise in server management and VMWare! Joining a friendly and knowledgeable eight-strong team that manages and supports a developing system, business and set of users with a variety of different technologies, your remit will include managing our Server Estate, DR, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Azure and SQL, including patching, maintaining and monitoring performance, as well as system design and project rollout.

You will also provide end-user support when required and oversee the IT support function to ensure our people receive an excellent service.
Your key duties as Infrastructure & Support Manager will include:

- Ensuring the continued performance of the server infrastructure through proactive maintenance and administration
- Checking server disk space, event logs, services and availability
- Supporting and maintaining the Microsoft Exchange and SQL servers
- Ensuring that all server software is licenced and documented
- Providing support for Switches/Routers/Firewalls and VPNs
- Maintaining the SANs/Disk Arrays
- Managing the Support team

What we are looking for in our Infrastructure & Support Manager
- A minimum of five years' experience working in a comparable job in a multi-site organisation
- Ideally, you have an Information Technology BTEC Diploma or equivalent
- You must have a full UK driving licence as this job involves frequent travel to other sites in our IT van 

Working hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, though flexibility will be required at times. The role requires you to be on call, for which a stand-by rota is operated
