If you have experience of delivering training and can see yourself in a small and proactive team of dedicated trainers, supporting the operational side of our highly successful and interesting business, then read on! At Grundon, we have a rare opportunity for a Transport Trainer with at least an LGV Category C Licence to join our Ewelme depot in South Oxfordshire. The Transport Trainer role
The joy of this job is that you probably won’t be training the same thing two days in a row, or in the same place! Travelling across our multi-site business, you will ensure all Grundon LGV Drivers, Non-LGV Drivers and Operatives are competent to operate vehicles and related equipment, as well as being up to date with all associated legislation. You’ll do this by delivering professional training and assessments and, when required, delivering the in-house Driver CPC training programme.

Responsibilities of our Transport Trainer
- Training and interacting with lead drivers
- Delivering a bespoke two-day induction course to all new operational employees
- Assisting, where necessary, on accident and driving-related investigations
- Providing post-accident/incident training and re-assessment

 What we are looking for in our Transport Trainer
- Experience of delivering training, ideally in a similar role
- Must hold at least an LGV Category C Licence (Category C+E entitlement is preferable)
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training certificate, or similar level qualification, or working towards
- Ideally have experience of working in the waste management sector
- Experience of working across a multi-site environment and communicating with staff at all levels

Working hours: Average 45 hours per week working core hours of 7am-4.30pm, Mon-Fri, though start and finish times may vary to fit in with operational requirements
