Apprentices celebrate their success at Grundon’s second graduation

On Thursday 4 September 2025, Grundon’s Learning & Development team proudly hosted the second Grundon Graduation, once again celebrating the outstanding achievements of our apprentices from the past 12 months.

The ceremony was opened by Addisen Gregory, Future Talent Lead. Addisen knows first-hand the dedication it takes to balance studies, work and life as he has also recently completed an apprenticeship himself. He spoke of the determination, growth and resilience shown by all, and his pride in watching them thrive.

One of the highlights of the day was the presentation of certificates by Neil Grundon, Chairman. Each apprentice was awarded their certificate, a personalised Apprenticeship Graduation hi-vis vest and Grundon branded sunglasses to remind them of their achievement.

Following the presentation, Neil praised the graduates in his speech, noting:

“It’s a real pleasure to be here today. This is our second Grundon Graduation – so firstly I’d like to say thanks to Addisen, for making it happen again.

“Secondly, I’d like to say well done and congratulations to you all. As a business, we’re passionate about supporting our people and helping them get to where they want to be, and apprenticeships are a fantastic way to achieve that. We also know how challenging it can be to balance an apprenticeship alongside full-time work and everyday life, but you’ve all risen to the challenge and made it work.”

“You should be incredibly proud of yourselves – I certainly am, and I know my fellow Board members are too.”

After the formalities, it was time to relax and celebrate together, with fresh pizzas served from a retro VW camper van by In Fine Sprits, a local Oxfordshire business.
