Grundon Waste Management received a triple boost when its work with JLL was commended across three categories in the annual JLL Responsible Property Management Awards.
Overall, there were 118 entrants across eight different categories and Grundon achieved finalist status in:
- Supplier of the Year – recognising leading suppliers that have a positive environmental or social impact throughout their operations
- Best Customer Engagement – recognising leading initiatives to connect with JLL’s customers
- Best Waste Management – recognising leading initiatives to improve resource efficiency (reduce, reuse, recycle)
Grundon provides total waste management services for JLL across two regions – Greater London and the South East – and among its achievements have been delivering zero waste to landfill across all sites, introduction of food waste collection services, and organising Tenant Waste Engagement Days.
An independent panel of judges assessed all the entries and the winners were announced at the RPM Awards ceremony on 31 October, at JLL’s Head Office in Soho, London.
Grundon’s Scott Williams, Head of Contract Management, who attended the event, said: “With so many entries, we were thrilled to be selected as finalists and to see our hard work and dedication recognised by the judges.
