As we all come to terms with the changes to our daily lives and routines imposed by the global COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent Government lockdown and social distancing guidelines, many of our customers have had to temporarily close their businesses or adapt to new ways of working.
At Grundon we too have had to adapt to the changing circumstances, so we fully understand and empathise with our customers during this challenging and unprecedented period.
We do however continue to operate as normal with our collection services running to schedule, providing a full service to our customers where required. Across the business our expert teams have stepped up admirably to support many of our customers whose essential services are helping to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic, keep our nation safe and functioning as best we can. Among these customers are the NHS, the food manufacturing and distribution sector and local authorities who provide essential household waste collection services.
As a business Grundon have fully embraced the collective spirit of togetherness that these circumstances have brought about and we are continually looking for ways to support our valued customers during this period of uncertainty.
We appreciate that some of customers may need to look at making amendments to their usual collection schedules or are looking to suspend their collection services altogether. At Grundon we are on hand to support our customers wherever we can.
If you would like to suspend of make any alterations to the service we currently provide you we’d kindly ask that you do not cancel the direct debit arrangements you have with Grundon. Instead, please email sales@grundon.com with your requirements and we’d be happy to help. We will accommodate suspensions and changes of collections regardless of contract.
Please note any suspension or amendment relates to collection charges only. It is important that we continue to ensure you are kept fully compliant with all relevant environmental legislation, so our standard Duty of Care and container rental charges will remain in place.
We hope the ability for you to request these alterations will go some way to helping your business through this period, as we collectively face the challenges brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic together.
We’re also on-hand to keep your employees safe and provide help where we can:
- We will ensure a ‘no-contact’ service at all times, complying with all social distancing guidelines
