Independent auditors from the BSI Group recently completed a series of comprehensive audits of Grundon Waste Management’s facilities in relation to the company’s bid to achieve company-wide certification for it’s Integrated Management System.
The audits were all highly successful and resulted in the award of certificates for ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environmental), OHSAS 18001(Occupational Health and Safety Management) and the PAS99 Framework for Integration.
Commenting on the announcement Technical Director Steve Roscoe said:
“This is a tremendous achievement, representing hard work and teamwork of the highest order by a great many people throughout the organisation. We are delighted to achieve this certification which puts us on a par with the biggest and best in the waste industry. However we won’t be resting on our laurels and will be maintaining and further developing compliant systems across the entire business in order to retain accreditation”.
