Grundon’s Special Events Services team have been shortlisted in the ‘Best Waste Management Company’ at the Festival Supplier Awards 2016.

The Festival Supplier Awards were launched in 2014 to recognise the achievements and hard work of outdoor event suppliers.
With the thriving festival market place rapidly diversifying the Festival Supplier Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the ‘behind-the-scenes’ teams that are the lifeblood of any successful festival.
The Grundon Special Events services team is dedicated to the needs of the events sector and is particularly successful thanks to its simple and effective ‘two bin’ system for mixed recyclables and general (non-recyclable) waste which, when combined with its Energy from Waste option, enables event organisers to divert up to 100% of waste from landfill and significantly reduce their environmental impact.
The team provides services to over 100 events a year, ranging from small local activities through to prestigious occasions such as The Championships, Wimbledon; Formula1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone; Henley Royal Regatta and the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show.
The Festival Supplier Awards ceremony will take place at The Hurlingham Club in London on 28 January 2016.
Grundon’s Special Events Services team have previously been named as ‘Best Waste Management Company’ and were shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Best Green Supplier’ award category at the at the Event Production Awards in 2013 and 2015 respectively.
