As the impact of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to develop we would like to reassure our customers that it is business as usual and our service will continue to operate as normal, without disruption. There has been no meaningful impact on our ability to provide a consistent service to date.
We understand the waste collection service we provide will be critical to the operational and business continuity of our customers, especially for those working in the healthcare sector.
We are continually monitoring Government guidelines and will be reviewing and adjusting our work practices accordingly.
We continue to prioritise the health and well-being of our employees, providing guidance and support on best practice in line with the Government’s latest health advice. We have also implemented measures to reduce the risks of exposure and minimise the spread of the virus further.
These precautions include, but are not limited to, sanitisation aids (such as disinfectant hand gels and wipes) and where appropriate additional personal protective equipment including disposable gloves.
We are also taking precautions to minimise all non-essential travel and meetings, including those with customers and suppliers. Face-to-face meetings should only take place where essential. We’ve asked our employees to establish where these meetings can be carried out remotely, either by telephone or video conferencing.
The situation is dynamic and our business continuity plans are being reviewed on a daily basis.
Where required changes may need to be implemented at a local level, but we will keep you informed about any necessary changes to your service as and when they arise.
If you have any queries regarding your service, please get in contact with your local Grundon sales team.
We recognise that during these rapidly changing and unprecedented times there will be a lot of uncertainty. Whilst we acknowledge the situation is largely out of our control, please rest assured that Grundon will be doing all we can to limit any disruption to your business.Back to news
