Knowl Hill quarry is the site of the Old Star Brickworks on the A4 between Maidenhead and Reading.
The site is rich in puddle clay with deposits of sand, which are dry screened to produce building sand. There are also some good-sized pieces of sandstone rockery similar to those found in Yorkshire. Please phone the sales office for availability.
