Hazardous Waste Collections
Under 50Kg - The Haz-Box

In response to recent regulatory changes, Grundon Waste Management Ltd has developed a new Haz-Box collection service. Specifically tailored to meet the needs of producers who generate small volumes of hazardous waste such as aerosols, batteries, paints and adhesives, contaminated rags and wipes, oils and cleaning chemicals, the Haz-Box provides a cost effective method of ensuring waste producers remain compliant with all disposal legislation.

Utilising the innovative technologies available at our Hazardous Waste Transfer Station in Oxfordshire, the Haz-Box service not only ensures compliance, but also enables the waste producer to recycle a number of their hazardous waste streams.

Upon signing up to the Haz-Box service, customers take ownership of a plastic, lidded storage box, which is then emptied on either a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly frequency. Waste items must be 5kgs/lts or below to be stored within the box. Larger hazardous waste items for example, PC screens, fluorescent tubes and fridges /freezers can then be collected alongside this service ensuring that all 'difficult' wastes for small producers are managed in both a responsible environmental and legal manner.

Approved Containers
