Grundon has been active in extracting and producing a broad range of minerals for the construction, leisure and landscaping markets since our inception in 1929.
From our headquarters at Ewelme near Wallingford, Oxfordshire, we now operate 8 quarries across Southern England - producing a varied range of products for an even wider variety of customers and industries.
Our core business is the supply of sands and aggregates to the building, construction, landscaping, decorative, and leisure markets.
What makes us unique however is our "open door" policy. We actively encourage the general public, smaller builders, landscapers and DIY enthusiasts to come along and purchase directly from our quarry weighbridge offices – no matter how small the quantity of product required.
Our emphasis on customer care and our commitment to high standards are complemented by the priority placed on quality control. The independent consultants and testing laboratories we use to ensure these standards are among the best in the business.
