Cobbles

Henham Quarry in East Anglia is the home of Grundon Anglian Cobble and Pebbles.

The material is a rounded, very hard naturally occuring flint. It is washed, screened and available as mixed cobbles or in sizes of 40mm 20mm - more sizes are to be produced.

In East Anglia these cobbles are used extensively for cobble walling, houses, churches and paving - an art which goes back centuries Cobbles and Pebbles are also used for water features and decorative areas in gardens and public pedestrian areas. These cobbles and pebbles are also stocked at Wicklesham and Padworth quarries to service the open door policy of the general public.
