Puddle Clay

Puddle Clay is used for constructing lakes. Grundon's own sites produce engineering clays for irrigation lagoons, waterfowl flight ponds and fishponds.

Other uses include landfill engineering for the lining and capping of sites and other engineering applications. With an average plasticity index of 30% and a mean permeability of 10ˆ11 ms-1 the stable clays meet Department of Transport standards for road construction and NRA landfill engineering quality control standards.
