This is the third such report published by Grundon, following previous editions in 2000 and 2005. Commenting on the report, Toni Robinson, Compliance Manager said:
“I’m immensely proud of the fact that we have stuck to our commitment to publish on a regular basis, and that we’re again able to demonstrate significant improvements in the company’s performance.
It’s also good to receive external recognition for our efforts - The Carbon Trust recently commented that our Report was one of the better examples produced.
Even more important is the fact that the report, and all of the monitoring and measurement activities that underpin it, have produce a culture change within the company. More and more of our people understand the significance of what we are achieving, and they place great value on that”.
