Operating from depots across the south of England our non-hazardous waste management services include recycling collections, waste removal, waste disposal services, special events services and contract management.
In addition we deal with all aspects of hazardous waste management, including contaminated waste, clinical / medical waste disposal and the collection and treatment of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
We own and operate a varied fleet of purpose-built collection vehicles in addition to a range of state-of-the art treatment facilities. These include Transfer Stations, Materials Recovery Facilities, Hydroclaves, Clinical / Hazardous Waste Incinerator, Hazardous Waste Transfer Station, Green Waste Treatment facility and Landfill sites.
With regard to residual waste management, our energy from waste plant located at Colnbrook near Heathrow commenced operations in 2010, creating a major alternative to landfill for the disposal of municipal solid waste.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff are able to advise on all aspects of recycling, waste collection and disposal, including compliance issues relating to healthcare regulations and environmental management.
Customer focus is essential, and we will continue to establish and improve upon the successful customer partnerships and community liaison groups that have already been formed. Grundon aims to deliver the highest possible standards of service quality, customer care and product and service specification.
Our sister company, Grundon Sand & Gravel Limited, operates a range of quarries supplying high quality sand and aggregates to the construction, leisure and landscape markets.
