Transfer Stations...

Hazardous ImageOur hazardous waste transfer station at Ewelme, South Oxfordshire, is licensed to accept almost all types of hazardous waste. Its national, as well as regional, importance has increased dramatically over the last 10 years, with its expansion and introduction of a range of processing and recycling technologies.

Hazardous Waste Transfer Station, Mar 2004

ImageThe transfer station is operated by a team of highly trained, degree qualified chemists, who inspect and assess every waste that enters the site. They are supported by a team of skilled plant operators, as well as the Technical Department, containing a wealth of knowledge and experience. This gives the transfer station great balance and flexibility, enabling Grundon to quickly adapt to the ever-changing regulations.

We are committed to using the Best Available Technology for the management of all wastes. The emphasis is always placed on recovery and recycling, with treatment, incineration and landfill being considered on their merits.
