Our shared vision is to provide a working environment free from harm, by promoting a positive safety culture and improving the health and wellbeing of our workforce. Our commitment is demonstrated by our management of Health and Safety and our continual drive towards zero accidents and incidents. We are focussed on creating a safe working environment where our workforce feel empowered to be responsible for their own health and safety and that of others.

At Grundon we have a robust management system, accredited to BS ISO 9001 (Quality Management), BS ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and BS OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) under the framework guidance of PAS99. We strive to meet and exceed all Health and Safety legislation, codes of practice and guidelines and we are dedicated to promoting best practice across the business. We will achieve our commitment by:

  • Demonstrating strong leadership and commitment to Health and Safety
  • Engaging with our employees, customers, contractors and suppliers
  • Ensuring the competency of our workforce
  • Measuring and continually improving our performance by identifying and targeting key Health and Safety challenges
Grundon has signed up to the Environmental Services Association Charter and also the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management Pledge - all part of our commitment to driving down accidents in the industry.
