Top ranking in Sunday Times league table for Grundon

Grundon Waste Management has been ranked in the prestigious Profit Track 100 league table of Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits.

The Sunday Times Profit Track 100 In the results, published yesterday (April 8) in the Sunday Times, Grundon springboarded straight into 16th place and was the only waste management company to feature in the list of 100 businesses nationwide.

Clayton Sullivan-Webb, Managing Director, said: “We are honoured and delighted to have been featured in the Profit Track 100. This is a well-recognised barometer of success and it shows how hard we have worked as a business to achieve impressive results, while ensuring we continue to innovate and deliver a real quality service for all our customers.”

The annual Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100, now in its 19th year, is described as the definitive league table of Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits, measured over their latest three years of available accounts.

The ranking showed that up until financial year end September 2016, Grundon had delivered annual profit growth of 102.62%, with latest profits of nearly £5.6 million in 2016.

Oxford-based Fast Track, which compiles the list, was founded in 1997. Over the last 21 years, more than 5,000 companies have featured in its seven league tables, which include the SME Export Track 100 ranking Britain’s top 100 small and medium-sized companies with the fastest-growing international sales, and its Tech Track, which ranks the country’s top 100 tech companies.
